The two Conservative Councillors for the Bernwood Ward are:
Cameron Branston - Nick Brown
I have lived in Buckinghamshire for over ten years and moved to Long Crendon in 2013. In December 2015, I was elected as an Aylesbury Vale District Councillor for Grendon Underwood & Brill Ward. As a Councillor, I worked with Council leaders and our MP to resist the Oxford to Cambridge Expressway. I helped to establish the Bernwode Community Bus and assisted residents in Bernwood. I’ve managed flooding concerns in Meadowbank, Long Crendon, by pushing for council officials to provide solutions to frequent flood problems. I am an active volunteer with the Long Crendon Save our Surgery Committee and a Trustee of the Grendon Underwood Village Hall.
I have lived in Chearsley for 25 years and am a keen supporter of many associations and initiatives in Bernwood. As Chairman of the Chearsley Parish Council, I led a team that was a driving force in improving road repairs, traffic safety, signage and environmental improvements. Our village efforts culminated in Chearsley’s recognition as runner up in the best kept village competition in Buckinghamshire. Opposing the Oxford to Cambridge Expressway, fighting for HS2 mitigation and sustainable housing are key priorities of focus for me. As a Councillor, I will draw upon my business and life experience to continue to protect and enhance our communities and the rural way of life that we enjoy
